Sinterit will now sell DyeMansion's VX1 vapor smoothing system directly to customers of its compact SLS machines.
Sinterit, the Polish SLS printer maker, has partnered with DyeMansion to offer a complete powder-to-part workflow for its compact industrial SLS line.
Under the deal, Sinterit customers can buy DyeMansion's VX1 vapor smoothing system directly from Sinterit alongside their printer purchase. The VX1 takes the rough surface typical of SLS parts and smooths it to a glossy finish using chemical vapor. For shops that want color, the DM60 dyeing system is also available through the same channel.
The partnership lines up with Sinterit's recent BIANCO2 launch, a machine engineered for white and natural powder materials. That hardware pairs cleanly with DyeMansion's post-print finishing, making the combined package appealing for small manufacturers who previously had to source finishing equipment separately.
DyeMansion has been the dominant name in polymer post-processing for years, especially for industrial SLS and MJF users. By bundling its equipment with Sinterit's printers, the two companies are stacking a workflow that competes directly with larger, more expensive industrial setups from HP and EOS.
For makers running smaller SLS operations, the integration matters. Printers like the Lisa X already deliver usable parts, but finishing was always a hand-sanding bottleneck. Plugging in a VX1 changes that entirely, and getting it through the same purchase order as the printer simplifies procurement.
Arrangements like this signal where compact SLS is heading. The hardware has reached a level where the competitive difference is the full workflow, not just the print quality. Sinterit's move is a direct response to that pressure.
