ADDITIV Medical 2026 Aims to Close the Gap Between 3D Printing and Patient Care

ADDITIV Medical 2026 returns for its ninth edition on October 21 with a program aimed at the practical problems that keep hospitals from scaling 3D printing beyond pilot projects.

The free virtual summit runs from 10:00 AM to 12:40 PM EDT and is organized by 3Dnatives. It draws more than 500 expected attendees from clinical teams, medical device companies, and additive manufacturing providers.

The agenda is built around three panels. The first asks whether AI can safely design patient-specific anatomical models and implants, and where algorithmic efficiency ends and human liability begins. The second tackles reimbursement, capital costs, and how hospitals can build a repeatable return on investment for personalized 3D printing. The third focuses on how physical surgical guides and models are changing pre-operative planning, and where the scan-to-print pipeline still slows teams down.

Speakers include clinicians and executives from UCSF, Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Children's Nebraska, Tampa General Hospital, Stratasys Medical, Axial3D, and Synergy3DMed. Anish Ghodadra from UPMC, Dan Crawford from Axial3D, Erez Ben-Zvi from Stratasys, and Ferran Fillat Gomà from Hospital Clínic de Barcelona are among those confirmed.
