Lithuanian AmeraLabs introduces three new CE-marked dental resins for impression trays, surgical guides, and try-ins at around $170 per liter.

Mid-Market Dental Resins

Lithuania-based AmeraLabs is putting new dental 3D printing resins on the market. Its new Made in Europe resins include one material for impression trays, one for surgical guides, and another for try-ins. Try-ins are wearable intermediate dental appliances used to check comfort before placing final veneers, implants, or dentures.

An impression tray is a jig that holds silicone or another molding material so you can take an accurate impression. Surgical guides are for improving the accuracy of procedures while reducing failure rates. The new resins cost around $170 a liter, positioning AmeraLabs as a value play in the middle of the market.

Safety and Compatibility

The resins are biocompatible, non-cytotoxic, non-sensitizing, and non-irritating. They are free from TPO, THFA, MMA, BPA, and phthalates, addressing health concerns associated with some common photoinitiators and additives. Each material is CE Class I marked and complies with EN ISO 10993-1.

The TRY-23 resin is suitable for use with Formlabs, Asiga, Phrozen, Elegoo, Prusa, and Anycubic printers. It comes in A1, A2, B1, and B2 tooth shade colors. The SGR-28 resin is sterilizable and designed for freehand guidance, pilot-drill guides, single-implant cases, and full-arch reconstruction procedures. The CIT-25 Custom Impression Tray resin has minimal shrinkage after curing and does not require separator sprays.

Market Opportunity

As dental 3D printing becomes more mainstream, labs are increasingly cost- and process-focused. AmeraLabs aims to combine trust with affordability, offering European-made resins at competitive prices for labs using both high-end and budget-friendly printers.
