Jinshi Huina cleared filing review for a RMB 200 million base in Boluo County that would host 6,500 industrial FDM printers in phase one.

The plan in numbers

Shenzhen-based Jinshi Huina passed filing review on August 7 for a RMB 200 million ($29.7 million) 3D printing manufacturing base in Boluo County, Huizhou. Phase one calls for 6,500 Bambu Lab industrial FDM printers. The company's long-term filing mentions a eventual total of 15,000 machines, plus on-site PLA extrusion lines.

This is a third-party manufacturing site, not a Bambu Lab corporate facility. Jinshi Huina appears to be positioning itself as a large-scale contract printing hub, using Bambu Lab hardware rather than developing its own machines.

Why it stands out

A 6,500-machine print farm is not a workshop. It is an industrial operation. Even spread across a large facility, that density requires careful logistics for material handling, print queue management, post-processing, and quality control. If Jinshi Huina reaches the 15,000-machine target, it would be one of the largest single-vendor FDM deployments ever assembled.

The choice of Bambu Lab industrial machines is notable. Bambu Lab is best known for desktop machines, but the company has been pushing into farm and production hardware. A vote of confidence from a Chinese contract manufacturer suggests that the industrial P1 line is mature enough for high-uptime, high-volume work.

Where it fits in APAC

This project is part of a broader wave of additive manufacturing investment across the Asia-Pacific in early August. The same AMPulse Asia roundup that flagged the Jinshi Huina filing also noted Shaanxi Zhituo's RMB 475 million solid-state AM base in Xi'an, Yinglong Intelligent Manufacturing's RMB 518 million Qingdao AM park, and Dewu Technology's Pre-A funding round for ultra-high-precision SLM equipment.

China's AM expansion is increasingly split between metal and polymer. Metal gets the headlines for aerospace and defense work, but polymer print farms like this one are scaling faster in terms of unit count. A 15,000-machine farm would produce more kilograms of printed parts per year than most metal shops, albeit in different applications.
