Bambu Lab launches H2C with 7-nozzle multi-color capability and P2S mid-range printer in the US market.
Bambu Lab H2C and P2S Launch in the USA
Bambu Lab has officially launched two new 3D printers in the US market: the H2C with its revolutionary seven-nozzle multi-color system, and the P2S, a mid-range CoreXY positioned between the P1S and X1C.
H2C: The Multi-Color Game Changer
The H2C is similar to Bambu dual-extruder H2D model, but with a twist: one fixed extruder and another slot that can swap between 6 induction hot ends. This enables printing with up to 7 different colors or materials without the purge waste associated with single-nozzle systems.
Key benefits:
- Seven-material capability — One fixed nozzle plus six swappable hot ends
- Reduced waste — No purge towers needed when switching colors
- Faster multi-color prints — Tool changes are quicker than filament swaps
- Vortek nozzle technology — Eliminates traditional printer purge
The H2C is available now, with ultimate combo bundles shipping later this month.
P2S: The New Mid-Range Contender
The P2S sits between the P1S and X1C in Bambu lineup. Priced at $549 standalone or $799 with the AMS 2 filament changing system, it offers a compelling option for users wanting more than the P1S without paying X1C prices.
Black Friday promotions are also active on existing models:
- H2D discounted
- P1S marked down
Competition Heats Up
The multi-color printer market is getting crowded:
- Prusa CORE One L — Future upgrade to Bondtech INDX 8-material system
- Snapmaker U1 — Multi-color printer now available for preorder
- Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 — Built-in CANVAS 4-color system
For users deciding between platforms, the H2C offers the most colors without purge waste, while Prusa CORE One L owners will have an upgrade path to 8-material printing in early 2026.
Should You Buy?
The H2C makes sense for makers who need serious multi-color capability and want to avoid the waste of single-nozzle systems. The P2S is ideal for those wanting CoreXY performance without X1C pricing.
Both are available now through Bambu Lab official store.
