Bambu Lab retires the iconic P1P after 3 years. Here's the EOL timeline and what it means for owners.

The End of an Era

After three years, Bambu Lab has officially discontinued the P1P — one of the most influential desktop 3D printers of recent years. The announcement came on February 10th, 2026.

The EOL Timeline

Bambu Lab has laid out a clear support roadmap for P1P owners: End of sales February 10, 2026; Bug fixes until November 2027; Security patches until November 2029; Spare parts until February 2031.

What About the P1S and P2S?

The P1S will continue to be manufactured and sold. The newer P2S carries the P-series forward with significant upgrades.

The Bottom Line

For P1P owners: your printer remains a capable workhorse with years of support ahead. For prospective buyers: the P-series is still the benchmark — just look at the P1S or P2S instead.
