Creality SPARKX i7 Nano Brings Four-Color Printing to Desktops for $299

Creality has started shipping the SPARKX i7 Nano, a compact desktop 3D printer that supports up to four colors through a new CFS nano Kit. Priced at $299 in the U.S., it is the cheapest entry point yet into Creality's multi-color lineup.

The printer measures 260 x 260 x 255 mm in build volume and runs up to 500 mm/s. It accepts hardened steel nozzles up to 300 degrees Celsius, with options ranging from 0.2 mm to 0.8 mm. Automatic bed leveling, RFID filament reading, and automatic refill are all standard.

CFS nano Kit

The CFS nano Kit mounts directly on top of the printer body with a snap-on design, removing the need for an external CFS Lite unit. A dual-motor system handles filament channel switching and feeding, which Creality says produces smoother color changes. The kit is also compatible with existing i7 units.

AI Features

Creality built AI-powered assistance into the i7 Nano. A 720p camera watches for common print failures like spaghetti and air printing. Vibration compensation and dynamic pressure adjustment keep print quality consistent across speeds. CubeMe, another AI feature, turns 2D portraits into multi-color 3D models automatically.

Where It Fits

The SPARKX i7 Nano sits below the earlier i7 Color Combo in both price and footprint. At $299, it undercuts most four-color FDM printers on the market. The integrated spool holder and compact CFS nano Kit are genuinely useful for small desks where every centimeter counts.

The main trade-off is build volume. A 260 mm cube is adequate for miniatures, small replacement parts, and multi-color cosplay props, but it will feel cramped for anything larger. Users who outgrow it quickly will need to step up to the i8 or another platform. For beginners and multi-color hobbyists who want something small and affordable, the i7 Nano is a compelling package.
