Creality and Indian partner WOL3D just opened an experiential 3D printing retail store in Pune, letting shoppers watch printers work live.

A store you can actually walk into

Creality and Indian 3D printing company WOL3D have opened Pune's first experiential 3D printing retail store at Kopa Mall in Koregaon Park. The point is simple: let people watch printers work instead of reading about them online.

The space is on the second floor of the mall. Operational Creality printers sit on the floor alongside a wall of filament colors, with WOL3D specialists on hand to explain how the machines turn a digital file into a physical part.

What you will find inside

The store covers the full consumer range. There are FDM and resin printers, filaments, 3D pens, scanners, and laser engravers. A dedicated learning area is set up for students, designers, and entrepreneurs who want to understand the tech before they buy.

Live demonstrations run on the shop floor, so a first-time visitor can see a model print from start to finish in a single visit.

Why this matters for India's maker scene

WOL3D is already India's largest consumer 3D printing company, listed on NSE Emerge in 2024 and present in 11 cities. Creality, founded in 2014 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in May 2026, has been pushing offline retail as a way to reach buyers who still want to touch a product before they commit.

Rahul Chandalia, CEO of WOL3D, said the goal is to bring 3D printing closer to people and give them a place to see, understand, and use the technology in person.

The bigger picture

This is the classic move from workshop to store shelf. When a hobby gets a physical retail footprint, it signals that the audience is wider than early adopters. Creality and WOL3D are betting that hands-on experience is what turns curious shoppers into makers.

For now the Pune store is open every day from 11am to 10pm. If the format works, expect more Indian cities to get the same treatment.
