DN Solutions has officially opened its first European Additive Manufacturing Centre in Gütersloh, Germany, marking a significant expansion of its AM capabilities into the European market.
DN Solutions Expands European Presence
DN Solutions, the global CNC machine tool manufacturer (formerly Doosan Machine Tools), has officially opened its first European Additive Manufacturing Centre in Gütersloh, Germany. The grand opening ceremony took place on March 4, 2026.
The new facility represents a significant milestone for the company's AM2CNC strategy, which focuses on integrating additive manufacturing with traditional subtractive CNC machining processes.
About the Gütersloh Facility
The Additive Solutions Center (ASC) in Gütersloh features six machines demonstrating the complete additive manufacturing process chain. Visitors will experience live machining demonstrations showcasing both additive and CNC technologies working together in a real production environment.
The centre is designed to provide application consulting and deliver fully finished, precision-machined parts — from initial design through to the finished component.
AM2CNC: Integrated Manufacturing
DN Solutions' AM2CNC concept represents a unified approach to manufacturing that combines the design freedom of additive manufacturing with the precision and surface finish capabilities of CNC machining. This hybrid approach allows manufacturers to leverage the best of both worlds.
According to the company, the Gütersloh centre creates "a dedicated space where the interaction between additive and subtractive manufacturing becomes tangible" — enabling customers to understand how integrated manufacturing can improve their production workflows.
European Market Push
The opening marks DN Solutions' intensified push into the European additive manufacturing market. The facility will serve as a hub for customer demonstrations, technical training, and collaboration with European partners in the defence and dual-use manufacturing sectors.
Industry observers note this expansion signals growing momentum for industrial additive manufacturing adoption in Europe, particularly in sectors requiring precision-machined metal components.
