Elegoo's new H1 HT dryer tops out at 85C, runs hotter than Bambu's AMS 2.0, and costs just $70.
Elegoo's cheapest dryer yet goes hotter than Bambu's AMS
Elegoo has quietly shipped a $70 filament dryer that punches above its price. The H1 HT is a single-spool unit with a 3.5 inch color touchscreen, 11 preset filament profiles, and a custom mode for everything else. It dries at up to 85C, which is hotter than the 65C ceiling on Bambu Lab's AMS 2.0.
What you get for $70
The H1 HT monitors humidity, has a feed port at the back, and ships with both long and short PTFE tubes. The long tube feeds straight into Elegoo's Canvas system, and there is a second hole for TPU. It works with any printer and any filament brand, so you are not locked into Elegoo hardware.
The catch: one spool at a time
This is a single-spool dryer. If you run a four-color Canvas setup, you need four of them, and each one plugs in on its own. Creality's SpacePi X4 dries four spools in one box, so Elegoo's approach costs more if you want to prep a whole multi-color job at once. For a single Centauri, Centauri Carbon, or any open-air printer, one H1 HT does the job.
Who should buy it
If your PLA snaps, your TPU won't feed, or your Nylon prints like chalk, moisture is the usual culprit. A $70 dryer fixes that before you blame the printer. It pairs naturally with Elegoo's Centauri line, but there is no reason not to drop it next to a Bambu, Creality, or Prusa machine.
At $70 it is one of the cheapest ways to steady your print quality, and the 85C top end means it handles engineering filaments that cheaper dryers can't touch. Buy the Elegoo H1 HT on Elegoo.
