ELEGOO's first filament dryer handles PLA, PETG, PA, and PC up to 85°C with automatic spool rotation and dual vents, priced at $70.

ELEGOO is getting into the filament storage game. Its first product, the H1 HT Filament Dryer, targets users who print with materials that drink moisture from the air.

The unit heats up to 85°C, which covers the full range from PLA to polycarbonate and PA. Inside, the spool rotates slowly so the entire filament path gets even exposure to heat. Dual active vents pull humid air out during the cycle and seal the chamber afterward to keep moisture from creeping back in.

A 3.5-inch touchscreen sits on the front, offering 11 preset drying programs for common materials plus manual control if you need something custom. There is also a bypass outlet for TPU and fiber-reinforced spools, letting flexible or carbon-fiber loaded filament feed directly to the printer without kinking.

Safety features include overheat protection, a flame-resistant inner shell, and alerts for fan failures or an open lid. ELEGOO designed the H1 HT to work with any FDM printer, not just its own, so owners of Creality, Bambu Lab, or Prusa machines can add it without compatibility worries.

At $70, the H1 HT sits in the same price range as competing single-spool dryers. The 85°C ceiling is the standout spec: many budget dryers top out around 55°C, which leaves high-temperature engineering filaments only partially dried. For anyone printing with PA, PC, or carbon-fiber reinforced nylon, that extra heat margin is worth the price alone.
