Flashforge Cuts Prices on Adventurer 5M, AD5X, and 5M Pro for AliExpress 828 Sale

Flashforge joins AliExpress's annual sale

AliExpress's 828 sale is live, and Flashforge has put its current CoreXY lineup on promotion. The deals cover the Adventurer 5M, the multicolor AD5X, the enclosed Adventurer 5M Pro, and the company's HS PLA filament. Buyers stack a coupon code at checkout to reach the discounted prices.

The sale is positioned as a back-to-workbench opportunity, but the real story is how aggressively budget high-speed CoreXY printers have become. A year ago, 600 mm/s printing with multicolor support was a premium feature. Now Flashforge is selling an enclosed four-color machine for just over $300.

What is discounted

Flashforge HS PLA drops from $24.08 to $21.08 with code FUTURE03. The filament is formulated for high-speed printing, with lower melt viscosity and faster cooling than standard PLA. It is marketed as a match for CoreXY printers like the Adventurer 5M series.

The Adventurer 5M is down to $136.61 after a $32 cut with code FUTURE032. It is an open-frame CoreXY printer with a 220 x 220 x 220 mm build volume, 600 mm/s top speed, and 20,000 mm/s² acceleration.

The AD5X falls to $216.02, also with code FUTURE032. It shares the same CoreXY motion system as the Adventurer 5M but adds the Intelligent Filament System, which handles automatic loading and supports up to four filament colors or types including PLA, PETG, and TPU 64D.

The Adventurer 5M Pro is the most expensive of the group at $320.55 after a $72 discount with code FUTURE072. It keeps the 600 mm/s speed but wraps the printer in an enclosure with HEPA and activated carbon filtration. The enclosed chamber helps stabilize chamber temperature and keeps dust away from the print area.

How the coupon tiers work

The published codes are starting points. The discount scales with cart value, so buyers purchasing multiple items can use a higher-tier code. The coupon ladder runs from FUTURE03 ($15 to $3) up to FUTURE0130 ($649 to $130). Most single-printer buyers will land on FUTURE032 or FUTURE072.

Is it worth buying now?

The Adventurer 5M at $136 is now priced like an entry-level Ender machine, but with a CoreXY frame and much higher acceleration. For anyone printing functional parts or running longer jobs, the AD5X or 5M Pro are the more practical choices. Multicolor without an external AMS-style box simplifies workflow, and the enclosed Pro is the safer pick for materials that warp or emit particulates.

That said, AliExpress 828 is a limited window. Stock and coupon availability can change, and gray-market shipping times mean buyers should not expect next-day delivery. Still, for a current-generation CoreXY printer under $150, this is one of the lowest entry points we have seen this year.
