Hi3D is opening its V3.0 AI 3D model platform to all users for free for 48 hours, giving anyone a chance to test image-to-3D generation at 2048³ voxel resolution.

Hi3D will make its V3.0 platform free for everyone for 48 hours starting August 19, 2026 at 00:00 UTC. The open-access window is aimed at makers, game developers, and designers who want to test the company's latest AI image-to-3D model generation without a subscription.

What V3.0 offers

Hi3D V3.0 reaches 2048 cubed voxel resolution, which the company says is the highest resolution available in an AI 3D model platform today. The platform turns a single reference image into a clean, detailed 3D model, then offers AI texturing, automatic model splitting for multi-part prints, and export to standard formats. A dedicated multicolor mode separates textured models into color regions for compatible multi-material workflows.

The core use case for 3D printing is the Split for 3D Printing feature. It automatically breaks a complete model into printable parts and adds connectors, so users can go from a reference photo to an assembled physical object without manual modeling.

Free access window

The 48-hour free period runs from August 19 at 00:00 UTC through August 20 at 24:00 UTC. Full access to all V3.0 features is included during the trial. After that, Hi3D will return to its standard pricing model.

The company says it built the free trial to remove the barrier of evaluating the platform before committing. With 3D printing workflows increasingly starting from scanned or photographed references rather than CAD files, tools that bridge that gap are becoming part of the standard maker toolkit.

Users can sign up at hi3d.ai when the trial opens.
