Hi3D V3.0 jumps to 2048³ voxel resolution, up from 1536³ in the previous version, and opens free access to everyone for 48 hours starting August 19.
What changed in V3.0
Hi3D V3.0 raises the geometric resolution of its AI 3D model from 1536³ to 2048³ voxels. That is a 2.37x increase in voxel count. In practice it means sharper edges, cleaner lettering, and better preservation of thin walls and shallow relief in generated meshes. Texture output also climbs to 8K.
The update also reworks cross-view structural reasoning and the UV completion algorithm. Those two changes target the places where generated models usually need manual repair before they are usable for 3D printing or production.
Who this matters for
Makers using AI image-to-3D tools know the frustration of downloading a model and finding blurred details, collapsed overhangs, or messy UV maps. Hi3D is pitching V3.0 as a drop-in fix for that workflow. The platform also includes texturing and split-for-3D-printing tools, so the whole pipeline lives in one place instead of across several apps.
Free access window
Hi3D is opening V3.0 to everyone for 48 hours, from 00:00 UTC on August 19 through 24:00 UTC on August 20. Annual plans are also discounted by 70 percent during that window. If you have been waiting to test an AI 3D generator on a complex model, that is the window to do it.
The bottom line
Resolution alone does not make a model print-ready, but 2048³ is a meaningful step forward for AI-generated geometry. Combined with the improved UV completion and the split-for-printing tool, V3.0 is worth testing if you work with AI-generated assets. The free trial removes the risk.
