LONGER's ePrint combines dual-head UV printing, DTF transfers, and rotary mode in one desktop machine, with pre-orders now open.
LONGER is taking pre-orders for the ePrint, a desktop UV printer that does something most flatbed machines cannot: it prints in three modes from one box. Flatbed UV, DTF transfer, and rotary printing all share the same chassis, and the company claims the dual-head design prints up to six times faster than single-head UV machines.
Three modes, one machine
The ePrint's flatbed mode handles phone cases, plaques, and panels up to 310 by 420 mm. The rotary attachment grips bottles, tumblers, and pens for cylindrical printing. DTF mode lets you print transfers for apparel and textiles. LONGER says the open-ink system works with third-party UV and DTF inks, so you are not locked to one supplier.
The dual printheads carry 12 ink channels total. LONGER rates the resolution at 1440 DPI, with support for white ink, foil effects, and fluorescent colors. The machine also includes a 16MP vision system for automatic positioning and focusing, which helps with batch jobs where aligning each item by hand would eat up most of the day.
3D texture and height tolerance
What makes the ePrint different from a standard flatbed is its ability to build relief. LONGER says the printer can stack ink in layers up to 60 mm high, producing tactile embossing without a separate machining step. That opens up Braille labels, raised logos, and textured art panels. The printer senses substrate height automatically, which reduces the risk of crashing a printhead into a thick object.
Who is this for?
The ePrint sits in a narrow space between hobbyist UV printers and industrial equipment. At roughly the size of a large desktop 3D printer, it is small enough for a workshop or design studio. The all-in-one workflow appeals to makers who want to produce small batches of custom goods without buying a UV flatbed, a DTF station, and a rotary printer separately. Pre-orders are open now through the LONGER website, with global shipping scheduled to begin later this year.
