AtomForm unveils a 12-nozzle desktop 3D printer capable of printing 36 colors and 12 materials in a single build, with 90% less waste than traditional multi-material systems.

The First 12-Nozzle Desktop 3D Printer

AtomForm, a MOVA Group company, has launched the Palette 300 — the world's first 12-nozzle desktop 3D printer designed for high-speed, multi-color and multi-material printing. Unveiled at CES 2026, the system can handle up to 36 colors and 12 materials in a single print.

Founded in 2023, AtomForm focuses on smart hardware systems for creative fabrication. The Palette 300 represents the company's first commercial 3D printer.

How It Works: Twelve Dedicated Nozzles

Unlike traditional multi-material systems that rely on single-nozzle color mixing or tool-changing mechanisms, the Palette 300 features twelve dedicated nozzles — each permanently loaded with a specific filament. This eliminates the need for time-consuming purging and reloading between color or material changes.

The OmniElement automatic nozzle swapping system claims to reduce filament waste by up to 90% while maintaining dimensional accuracy of ±0.02mm. Maximum print speed is rated at 800mm/s with acceleration up to 25,000mm/s².

Build Volume and Filament Management

The system offers a build volume of 300 × 300 × 300mm and integrates with up to six AtomForm RFD-6 filament boxes. Each RFD-6 can store and feed six spools while doubling as a filament drier with independent drying technology.

AI-Powered Precision

The Palette 300 incorporates more than 50 sensors and four AI-powered cameras for real-time print monitoring. These systems automate nozzle calibration, detect defects, and improve first-time print success rates.

Additional specifications include:

  • Operational noise: ≤48dB
  • Onboard air filtration
  • Build volume: 300 × 300 × 300mm
  • Price: $2,199 (available early Q2 2026)

"With 12 nozzles, intelligent filament management, and AI precision, creators don't have to choose between speed, detail, or material diversity," said Jagger Shang, Head of Product at AtomForm.
