Major filament manufacturer Polymaker opens direct-to-consumer webshop to six new European markets, offering faster shipping, localized service, and direct access to high-performance filaments.

Polymaker Brings Direct-to-Consumer to Europe

Polymaker, a leading developer and manufacturer of 3D printing materials, has significantly expanded its direct-to-consumer presence in Europe. The company announced the launch of its webshop in six new European markets: the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Czechia, and Spain.

The expansion, announced from Utrecht, Netherlands, gives customers in these countries direct access to Polymaker's full product lineup including the Polymaker, Fiberon, and Panchroma brands. The move is designed to make high-performance filaments more accessible to makers, engineers, designers, and businesses across Europe.

What the Expansion Means for European Customers

Customers in the newly added markets will benefit from:

  • Faster shipping to European destinations
  • Localized service in local languages
  • Direct access to the full product catalog
  • Transparent pricing with no middleman markup
  • New product releases available immediately
  • Local customer support

"Our mission has always been to empower creators with the highest quality materials and the best possible experience," said Wildrik Van Der Weiden, Vice President at Polymaker. "Expanding our DTC webshop into key European markets allows us to connect more directly with our community and better serve their evolving needs."

New Wholesale Platform for Businesses

Alongside the consumer webshop, Polymaker has launched a dedicated EU wholesale platform for VAT-registered business customers. Businesses can sign up at eu-wholesale.polymaker.com, with applications validated within 1-2 business days.

The wholesale channel is available to businesses within the European Union, while customers outside the EU can contact the European order desk.

Part of Broader European Investment

This expansion represents a longer-term investment in Europe's 3D printing ecosystem. Polymaker operates manufacturing facilities in both the United States and China, and serves customers globally.

The timing is notable given Polymaker's recent product development, including the introduction of higher-temperature PLA materials (HT-PLA and HT-PLA-GF) that offer heat resistance above 150°C while maintaining compatibility with standard PLA print settings.

Europe represents one of the more dynamic and rapidly growing regions in additive manufacturing, making this direct-to-consumer expansion a strategic bet on continued growth in the European market.
