The FilaDC i10 keeps filament dry at room temperature using a self-regenerating molecular sieve instead of a heater. Pre-orders open September 15.

Moisture is the silent killer of FDM prints. Nylon gets brittle, PETG bubbles, and TPU refuses to extrude cleanly once it has sat open too long. Most filament storage solutions address this with heat, but heat ages filament and creates a cycle of drying, printing, and resealing that breaks down the moment you have more than a handful of spools. SUNLU and INSLOGIC are taking a different approach with the new FilaDC i10, a ten-spool cabinet that dehumidifies at room temperature using a self-regenerating molecular sieve.

How it works

The i10 uses a two-tier interior that holds up to ten 1kg spools across a range of spool sizes. A front-facing display shows real-time humidity and temperature readings, along with three status indicators that tell you whether the unit is absorbing moisture, exhausting it, or cooling down between cycles. The humidity target is adjustable between 10% and 55% RH, with the manual recommending 10-25% for 3D printing filament, 25-30% for pharmaceutical materials, 30-40% for electronics, and 40-50% for optical instruments. That range makes the cabinet useful beyond just a filament locker.

No heat means no risk of warping or aging

Heated dryers work, but they rely on constant energy input and a cycle of drying, printing, and resealing that collapses at any real volume. The i10 avoids that by running at or below 35 dB, keeping its surface temperature under 30 degrees C, and regenerating the sieve automatically without external heat. The result is a cabinet that can sit in a print farm, makerspace, or workshop without raising ambient temperatures or consuming significant power.

Practical details

The unit measures 395 x 300 x 508mm externally, with internal dimensions of 385 x 258 x 488mm. It holds spools up to 200mm in diameter by 67mm wide, and it is stackable if you need to cover more than ten spools. It carries RoHS, FCC, and CE certifications, and it ships with a one-year warranty.

Pricing and availability

Pre-orders open on September 15, 2026 at 7:00 AM UTC through SUNLU's official store. For print farms and workshops running multiple hygroscopic materials, the i10 is the most practical solution to hit the market in a while.
