The FilaDC i10 uses a self-regenerating desiccant system to keep ten spools dry without heating, targeting users who want storage, not recovery.
SUNLU and INSLOGIC have co-developed the FilaDC i10, a filament storage cabinet that takes a different approach to moisture control. Instead of heating filament to drive out water, the i10 relies on a room-temperature desiccant system that the companies say regenerates automatically.
The cabinet holds up to ten 1 kg spools. Its stated goal is keeping already-dry filament dry rather than rescuing filament that has absorbed moisture. That distinction matters. Hot-air dryers can recover wet spools, but they also risk degrading filament if left running too long. The i10 avoids that by staying at ambient temperature.
CNC Kitchen highlighted the FilaDC i10 in a recent video, noting the $180 price point. Pre-orders are scheduled to open on September 15, 2026, at 7:00 UTC, through both SUNLU and INSLOGIC stores. An early-access pass costing $1 is available until September 14, granting a $10 discount code at checkout.
The system targets users who print with multiple materials and want a single place to store them between sessions. TPU, PETG, nylon, and PEEK all fall under the i10's humidity control range, according to the manufacturers. Whether it replaces a dedicated dryer depends on your workflow. If you are recovering damp spools, you still need heat. If you are preventing moisture uptake, the i10 offers a lower-energy alternative.
At $180 for a ten-spool cabinet, the price is competitive against similar units from eibos and other brands. The self-regenerating desiccant is the main differentiator. Traditional dry cabinets use replaceable desiccant packs or constant low-power heating. The i10's regeneration cycle runs without user intervention, which simplifies maintenance.
Pre-orders open September 15 in the US, EU, UK, Canada, and Australia.
